Located on the north end of The Ave, Ten Pachi is a sleek salon offering $20 haircuts for both men and women, all day every day. Also on the menu: $8 bang trims and Japanese permanent straightening for $80/hour. Started by an internationally trained stylist, Ten Pachi is a little metropolitan hole in the wall across from The Irish Emigrant--and a delightful surprise in the U-District. -
Greenwood Academy of Hair

Studio 904 also takes environmentally friendly to the next level by sending all hair clippings to California to be re-used as doormats.
