It's tough to be a centrist in the NYC area. One can be for women's rights but the second one comments that perhaps Islamic terrorism is worrisome, people automatically point a finger and call you a right-wing hate monger. I'm a Ground Zero veteran, and believe in the right to defend your home, but also the right to choose, rights of all to have a legal relationship, and many beliefs that the liberal left believes are theirs alone. But I still think that we need to watch what's going on in the world. We are *not* the root of all evil. This country is made up of people from every nation in the world-why would something that is made up of the entire world be the worst of the world? But while we're reviled as evil, the same people who would mock us demand our help and money the moment something goes wrong elsewhere. Seriously, WTF is with that? Yes, we need to make sure there's peace. We also need to make sure that women can be safe from men who think they should be wearing scarves, veils, and head-to-toe burkhas. This movie is for those of us who see the threat and believe it needs to be paid attention to. To treat the USA like it's the bad stepchild and then demand it save the world -- where's the sense in that? The scenes at the colleges were great, mainly because I work at a college, and see the indoctrination for exactly what it is. I'm also refreshed to see something of a political mind that's not bent on destruction and venom. While the Moore character is whapped around by Grammer's Patton, it's clear that the good General is interested in educating his charge, not mocking him into submission. That's a big difference from how the left tries to get their point across -- if you don't agree with them, you're an idiot and are dangerous. I find myself thinking about the days of McCarthy, and wonder if the Left even sees itself repeating history. An American Carol is a must-see, no matter on which side of the fence you consider yourself to sit.
Pros: A balanced view, good-natured, amusing, really funny
Cons: Not in enough theaters.

If you are a totally PC type person, this movie is not for you. This is a slapstick, funny, full of one liners type of movie. Great stars, poking fun at the PC hype in our wonderful country. Stop taking yourself so seriously and go see this funny rendition of A Christmas Carol. If you don't laugh, then you need an attitude adjustment. Fun, fun, Fun & more FUN!
Pros: Funny!
Cons: None that I can think of...Don't be scared!

This movie is completely politically-incorrect and it’s about time that someone did that. The idea of just keeping quite so as to not create a stir is silly and dangerous. The main character of the movie is a goofy Michael-moorish character who naively but cheerfully goes through life in a comfy cocoon of anti-American taglines. Yes, Michael Malone is an over-the-top character as are the terrorists. C’mon – everything is over the top in this film. Malone is visited by three ghosts a-la “A Christmas Carol” who try to get him to see the light. The movie is funny, silly and a big slam to the holier-than-thou extreme views held by Hollywood types who believe that their roles as actors and filmmakers make their opinions more valuable than anyone else’s. The one thing I could have done without is the fact that the few curse words in the film were said by children. I don’t think the film had more than a 20 curse words (“s” and “a” only that I recall), but most of them were uttered by kids and though that got a chuckle from a lot of the audience, it was unnecessary. Kudos to those who participated in making the film including Kelsey Grammar, Kevin Farley, Leslie Nielsen, Trace Adkins, John Voight, Dennis Hopper and, of course, David Zucker. Funny how so many folks espouse freedom of speech only to want to squelch the voices on the other side of the aisle. Did I enjoy it? Yes. Would I recommend it? Yes. It’s a fun, silly romp but no matter what it should remind you to be thankful we have the freedoms we have in this country. Having views like the folks spoofed in the film might get you hanged in another country as might the making of a film like this. Seriously…give that more than just a passing thought.
Pros: Entertaining, Daring, Campy
Cons: Kids Cursing

OMG! My wife & I just got back from the movie American Carol. It was hilarious! Not PC, but hilarious! (she & I even snorted, we were laughing so hard!) Please, we have for so long wanted Hollywood to make a movie that was slanted to the right and was entertaining. Finally, we have one! The cast was great! The comedy was very airplane-ish (cringe and laugh), but it was also strangely a feel good movie. Please go! You get to show your support to the conservatives in Hollywood and laugh your butt off at the same time! Ironically, I got this quote sent to me tonight from patriotpost.us/: "No people will tamely surrender their Liberties, nor can any be easily subdued, when knowledge is diffusd and Virtue is preservd. On the Contrary, when People are universally ignorant, and debauchd in their Manners, they will sink under their own weight without the Aid of foreign Invaders." -- Samuel Adams (letter to James Warren, 4 November 1775) Reference: Our Sacred Honor, Bennett (261) The quote sort of sums up the gist of the movie…… Even if you lean left, you're gonna laugh... God Bless America!
Pros: Un PC in the other direction (for a change)
Cons: You'll make a fool of yourself snorting outl oud while laughing in the theater...
