When I first went in to see Dr Mireille Tuttle, she was very nice, professional, and listened. After the initial exam, I was to come in 4 times the first week for adjustments and then less frequently. I wanted to clarify the billing because I knew my ins plan had a $200 annual deductible and they would cover 10 adjustments thereafter at 100%. When I asked Ariel (billing) about the cost of an adj, she said that she would need to hear back from my ins co, but explained that is was typically $45 for walk-in clients with no ins. I brought this to Dr. Tuttle's attention because it was out of my budget. However, her response made it seem as though it would be ridiculous that I would be charged that much because I have ins and their contract with the ins co dictates how much can be charged. She assured me that each adj would be up to $45, but it would depend on my ins and what they allowed. I asked every week if they had heard back from my ins, which they hadn't. Roughly after 6 weeks of going 3-4 times a week, I received my statement from my ins. For every visit I had, my ins received a claim for $61 and $40 for a 2nd region. After the allowed charges, it was $41.94 and $13.69 respectively ($55.63/PER VISIT). The ironic thing is, the $45 for walk-in clients includes two-region adjustments. Never did anybody explain that I would be charged extra for other regions. Dr. Tuttle refused to meet with me or even speak with me over the phone to clarify what happened. Rachelle (receptionist) explained that Dr. Tuttle was too busy. She insulted me by saying that their chiropractic office does not choose my ins plan and their policy is not to share what is being claimed to ins. After that, I received my bill for $412.84. Thanks Tuttle. Dr. Tuttle had the audacity to call me after I paid my bill in full when she read a neg review online that sounded like my situation!!! This, to me, further proves the illegitimacy of this establishment!!! -Dave

I was one of Dr. Joseph-Tuttle's first patients, and have referred over a dozen friends to her. Everyone raves about Dr. Tuttle's incredibly personal and intuitive approach to chiropractic care. I've been to good chiropractors and bad, and I can honestly say that Dr. Tuttle is the best. Each patient's care is unique and specific to that patient's conditions or problems. The doctor is a warm, wonderful, and caring human being with an effervescent personality. (Anyone who claims that Dr. Tuttle was pushy or trying to schedule too many treatments is just a complete ignoramus, so please disregard their reviews.) If you want the best chiropractic care you can get in Seattle, I highly recommend that you go see Dr. Joseph-Tuttle.

Pros: Always punctual.

Although Dr. Mireille Tuttle has a great bed-side manner and is a capable chiropractor, Dr. Tuttle suggested an odd course of treatment I didn't understand, nor believe would address the problem I came in with. She seemed to rapidly forget the complaint I came in with, in pursuit of other problems she decided I should be treated for. I concur with "Disappointed's" experience and statement of Dr. Tuttle's pushiness: Dr. Tuttle pushed hard to have me come in many times each week, even though it was not needed, not desired and not affordable. Although she worked out a financial agreement with me, she promptly forgot about it when the huge number of visits SHE recommended began adding up. If you choose to use her, maintain firm boundaries and YOU take direction of your care. You'll need to resist her desire to treat you beyond what you need; and more often that she should.

Pros: Great bedside manner

Cons: Did not address the health concerns I came in with; pushed for care I didn't need or want and couldn't afford

I have been coming to Dr. Tuttle for years for headaches and lower back pain. The headaches caused me stress and made it hard to concentrate in my job. Since I have been under care with Dr. Tuttle, I don’t have headaches anymore and I have more energy and less stress. Now I can feel when I’m out of alignment and get adjusted before it becomes a problem. I would highly recommend Dr. Tuttle to anyone with any condition because I believe her technique is very powerful.

Dr Tuttle has been treating me for over a year, keeping my back and neck feeling great. I've had a lot of problems with herniated discs and sciatic pain in the past, but seeing Dr Tuttle regularly has helped incredibly - I always know when I haven't been for an adjutment in a while! Dr Tuttle is now treating me during my first pregnancy and has really helped with the ligament pain and niggles that come along with being pregnant. Dr Tuttle is confident and skilled in what she does but she is also friendly and welcoming and I feel very happy to be in her care.

Pros: Parking, friendly staff

Dr. Joseph-Tuttle took me under her salubrious hands at a painful time of life. She assessed my back and neck, helped me work out financial arrangements, and set me on a more pain-free path. I'm often amazed at her young wisdom and intuition. Her gentle and compassionate caring, her holistic approach and kind interest has endeared her as not only a competent healer, but a lovely friend. Over time most of my children and their families have also found her adjustments vital to their lives and some drive over an hour to see her. She has worked with my son with disabilities with a gentle thoroughness and genuine interest in him that I deeply value.

Dr. Mireille Tuttle has been my Chiropractor for years now and has always given my a very high quality of care. She is extremely knowledgeable and confident in her profession. I was having back, neck and shoulder pain when I first started to see her and have seen great improvement in all. I have also an improvement in the number of headaches I was having. I always enjoy my visits to her office because her and her friendly staff always put me at ease. Being under her care over the years has impoved my health and I recommend her to everyone!

Pros: great office hours

Dr. Tuttle was the first chiropractor I had ever seen and I was so impressed with how comfortable I felt from the moment I stepped foot in the office. It absolutely does not feel like a doctor's office and Dr. Tuttle is equal parts kind and intelligent. She really believes in what she does and is dedicated to making sure her patients are 100%. I would highly recommend going to see Dr. Tuttle, especially if you are skeptical about chiropractics. She will no doubt, put your mind (and body!) at complete ease. Plus the staff is super friendly and cool ;)

Pros: relaxed environment, perfect adjustments

Cons: nothing!

Dr. Tuttle is the most caring and knowledgable Chiropractor. She takes an indepth history of each patient and prepares a treatment plan specifically for their needs. She explains everything she will be doing with you and really helps you understand what your body is doing. Her adjustments are amazing!!! Nobody has ever adjusted me better than her!! I highly recommend you see Dr. Tuttle!! Her staff is efficient and so friendly!!

Pros: The BEST neck adjuster!!!

Although Dr. Tuttle is very nice and I believe in the benefits of chiropractic care, she is very pushy and tries to have you come in many times each week, even if not needed. This is a sign that she is trying to build up her practice to receive a steady income rather than doing what is in the best interest of the patient. Bottom line: There are far better chiropractors in Seattle. Keep looking.

Cons: Even though parking is free (if you come at the right time to get one of the two spots), the parking lot is miserable to get in and out of.
