WAMU Family Fourth

2 Star Rating: Below Average

Although the fireworks are great, the festivities at Lake Union stink big time. Not only did my husband & I tried to find parking for 2 hours, 11am to 1pm, just for the activities at Lake Union, the planners didn't provide enough parking spaces. It was nice when they had the festivities at Myrtle Edwards Park, because Seattleites could enjoy either/or places. But when the planners rid the stuff down at Myrtle Edwards Park this 4th of July, 2006, it became more crowded at Gas Works Park and parking became scarce. Way to go, Morons!

  • Pros: Gas Works Park is pretty nice
  • Cons: Parking around the areas are extremely hard to find.
